New striping deserves a surface worth striping on.

Surface Preparation & Repair — Central Florida

ASPHALT PAVING
& PATCHING

New striping on a damaged, cracked, or faded surface is a waste of money — and it looks terrible within months. That's why Walk The Line Striping offers complete asphalt preparation and resurfacing services, ensuring your new markings have the best possible foundation to look great and last as long as possible. From minor crack filling and pothole repair to sealcoating and full overlay resurfacing, we handle the prep work that most striping companies skip. Florida's heat, UV exposure, and summer rain cycles are brutal on asphalt. We use materials specifically engineered for the Florida climate — so your investment holds up year after year.

ASPHALT RESURFACING
CENTRAL FLORIDA

When crack filling and sealcoating are no longer enough, asphalt resurfacing (also called an overlay or mill-and-fill) restores your lot to like-new condition at a fraction of the cost of full replacement. Walk The Line Striping performs complete resurfacing services across Central Florida — and because we also stripe, you get a single-vendor solution with no coordination gaps.

Asphalt Overlay

A new 1.5–2" layer of hot-mix asphalt is applied over the existing surface after milling. Ideal for lots with widespread surface fatigue but a structurally sound base.

Mill & Fill

The top layer of deteriorated asphalt is milled off and replaced with fresh material — restoring grade, eliminating ruts, and creating a smooth, bondable surface for the new overlay.

Full Depth Reclamation

For lots with deep structural failure, we reclaim the full base, regrade, and compact before applying new asphalt — the most thorough restoration short of complete reconstruction.

Why Choose Walk the Line?

Florida-Engineered Materials

We use asphalt materials and sealcoats specifically formulated for Florida's climate — UV-resistant, heat-stable, and built to handle summer downpours.

Fast Turnaround

Most crack sealing and patching jobs are completed in a single visit. Full resurfacing overlays are typically ready for striping within 24–48 hours.

Bundled Savings

Bundle resurfacing with striping and save. We coordinate both phases so your lot is back in service with fresh asphalt and crisp new lines in the shortest time possible.

Honest Assessment

We'll tell you exactly what your lot needs — and what it doesn't. If a simple crack seal and re-stripe will do the job, we won't push you toward a full overlay.

Our Process

1

Pavement Assessment

We evaluate your asphalt to identify cracks, potholes, drainage issues, alligator cracking, and overall surface condition before recommending a scope of work.

2

Damage Repair

Cracks are routed and filled, potholes are cut out and patched, and any structural issues are addressed before resurfacing begins.

3

Surface Cleaning

The entire surface is blown clean and pressure-washed to remove dirt, oil, and debris for proper adhesion of the new material.

4

Resurfacing or Sealcoating

A fresh layer of high-quality asphalt or sealcoat is applied using professional equipment for a smooth, seamless finish.

5

Cure & Striping

Once the surface cures (24–48 hours for overlay, 24 hours for sealcoat), we apply your new striping layout for a complete, polished result.

FAQ

If your asphalt has widespread cracking, significant fading, potholes, or alligator cracking, resurfacing is recommended before striping. We'll assess your lot and give you an honest recommendation — no upselling.

A new asphalt overlay typically needs 24-48 hours to cure before striping can be applied. Sealcoating needs about 24 hours. We coordinate the timing so your lot is back in service as quickly as possible.

Sealcoating is a protective layer applied over existing asphalt to block UV rays, water penetration, and oil damage. It extends the life of your asphalt by 3-5 years and is significantly cheaper than resurfacing. We recommend it every 2-3 years.

Yes. We can patch and repair specific problem areas without resurfacing the entire lot. This is often the most cost-effective approach for lots with isolated damage.

Yes — we handle surface prep, paving, sealcoating, and striping under one roof. Single-vendor coordination means less scheduling hassle and better results.

★★★★★

“Brandon and the crew at Walk the Line did a phenomenal job on my parking lot. The lines are perfectly straight, the ADA markings are spot-on, and they finished ahead of schedule. I’ve worked with a lot of contractors over the years — these guys are the real deal. Will absolutely call them for our next property.”
